Informative session of support provided at campus level, district level and specific resources in community that assist the psychosocial needs of children and youth. Participants will explore best practices for pre-ARD planning, data collection, legal compliance, effective communication strategies, and documentation. Through hands-on activities, real-world scenarios, and guided discussions, educators will learn how to proactively prepare for meetings, address concerns, and advocate for student needs while maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations.
Participants will be provided an introduction to this curriculum that can be used to teach social skills to students affected by autism and related disorders. Increased understanding for these students will promote their success in general education and beyond.
